Testimonials

Such a great overall experience! I went to Edie for an eyebrow and lamination and she made my brows look absolutely amazing. I will not be returning to the nail salon again to have my eyebrows done. Such a comfortable little space that really makes you feel at ease while you have someone working on you. Edie, who is the owner, is very kind and really does a great job at making you comfortable and asks a lot of questions about exactly what you want and delivers. I have thick brows and have been so many places that just did what they wanted as opposed to what I requested. Not the case at all here. I could not recommend this establishment or Edie more. My brows have never looked better. And they offer so many other amazing services as well. 11/10 experience!

I give Edi with Maud Brows a 5
star review because not only was she informative, sweet, warm and
professional but she walked me through the whole brow process. She made
sure I was comfortable and I was impressed from start to finish. Most
importantly, I love the way my brows came out. This was my first time so
I was nervous but I couldn't be happier with the results. They are
beautiful. Thank you Edi.

I've been considering microblading for quite sometime and I'm SO happy to have had Edi be my brow artist. She preps you for what to do before, what to expect during, and thoroughly covers the aftercare with you. Highly focused during the procedure, striving and nailing how to achieve as close to that look you're hoping for. So attentive to the clients needs, encourages one to voice any questions, comments or concerns throughout any part of the process to ensure you're both on the same page because she really wants to ensure you're heard, respected. Rest assured, you'll walk out with a gorgeous end product that you're both proud of. Can't wait to come back for future touch ups!

TODAY

Microblading is a tattooing technique which uses a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing, a form of permanent makeup, as each hair stroke is created by hand with a blade that creates fine slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a tattoo machine. Microblading is used on eyebrows to create, enhance, or alter their appearance in shape and color. It deposits pigment into the upper region of the dermis, so it fades more rapidly than traditional tattooing techniques. Microblading is often referred to as eyebrow embroidery, eyebrow feathering, microstroking, 3D eyebrows, nanoblading or hair-like strokes

Natural-Looking Results: Microblading can create natural-looking eyebrows by simulating the appearance of individual hair strokes. This technique allows for a more realistic and defined eyebrow shape.

Semi-Permanent Solution:Unlike traditional eyebrow tattoos, microblading is considered semi-permanent. The pigments used in microblading are designed to fade over time, offering flexibility for individuals who may want to adjust their eyebrow shape or style in the future.

Time-Saving:Microblading can save time in the daily makeup routine, as individuals don't need to spend as much time filling in or shaping their eyebrows.

Enhanced Symmetry:Microblading can help correct asymmetrical eyebrows or fill in sparse areas, providing a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing appearance.Long-Lasting Results:While microblading is semi-permanent, the results can last for one to three years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. This can offer a long-lasting solution for those seeking eyebrow enhancement.

Customization: Microblading allows for customization of eyebrow shape, thickness, and arch, catering to the individual preferences and facial features of the client.

Minimal Downtime: Recovery time after microblading is relatively short, and individuals can typically resume their regular activities soon after the procedure.Boost in Confidence:Many individuals who undergo microblading report an increase in confidence and self-esteem, as they achieve a well-defined and polished look without the need for daily eyebrow maintenance.

The microblading procedure is a semi-permanent tattoo. Like all tattoos, microblading can fade, depending on multiple factors, including the quality of pigment/ink used,[5] UV exposure, skin type, elements found in skincare products, and/or medications. The treatment lasts from 18 to 30 months, although it can sometimes last for up to 3 years. A touch-up session is encouraged 6 weeks after the first microblading procedure, and every 12–18 months thereafter.

Microblading artists measure and sketch the placement of their client's eyebrows to set the outline for the microblading.[citation needed] Manual smooth shading (micro shading) can also be added to go over and between the hair strokes to visually give the dimension of natural eyebrow thickness without any sharp contours on the eyebrows.[4]

The Durabilty of a microblading procedure is a semi-permanent tattoo. Like all tattoos, microblading can fade, depending on multiple factors, including the quality of pigment/ink used, UV exposure, skin type, elements found in skincare products, and/or medications. The treatment lasts from 18 to 30 months, although it can sometimes last for up to 3 years. A touch-up session is encouraged 6 weeks after the first microblading procedure, and every 12–18 months thereafter.

Feathering or Hair Strokes:

  • This technique mimics the appearance of individual eyebrow hairs by creating fine, short strokes. It is often used to fill in sparse areas, add definition, or recreate the entire eyebrow.

3D or 6D Microblading:Also known as 3D eyebrow embroidery or 6D microblading, this technique involves adding multiple layers of hair-like strokes to create a three-dimensional effect. It adds depth and dimension, providing a more realistic and textured appearance.

Powder or Ombre Brows:.Instead of individual hair strokes, this technique involves creating a soft, shaded look that resembles the appearance of eyebrow makeup, such as eyebrow powder or pencil. It is suitable for those who prefer a fuller, more defined brow.

Microblading with Microshading:

  • Microblading is often complemented with microshading, where a shading technique is applied to the entire eyebrow or specific areas to create a gradient or soft powdered effect.

Microfeathering:

Microfeathering is a subtle variation of microblading, focusing on enhancing the existing eyebrow shape rather than creating a new one. It is designed to add definition and fill in gaps while maintaining a more natural look.

In conclusion, microblading encompasses various techniques tailored to meet individual preferences and achieve natural-looking, well-defined eyebrows. Whether through feathering for realistic hair strokes, ombre shading for a soft powdered effect, or hybrid approaches combining different methods, skilled technicians customize their approach to enhance existing eyebrows or create entirely new shapes. The key lies in the precise application of pigments using specialized tools, providing clients with semi-permanent results that can significantly transform and redefine their overall appearance.
